Features
  • Nonpolar, endcapped phases for RP chromatography
  • Available pore sizes 50, 100, 120, 300, 500 and 1000 Å
  • Available particle sizes 3 µm, 5 µm, 7 µm and 10 µm
  • pH stability at 20 °C: 2–8, carbon content depending on pore size (see table below)
  • Separation mechanism based on hydrophobic (van der Waals) interactions, slight residual silanol interactions 
  • Corresponding NUCLEODUR® phases: see NUCLEODUR® C18 ec
 
Standard NUCLEOSIL® C18 phases are available as packed EC columns for analytical HPLC.
