HELIX CHROMATOGRAPHY
Heritage HPLC Columns
Helix’s Heritage line of HPLC columns includes the most popular columns listed in US and European Pharmacopoeias, as well as some first and second generation mixed-mode columns. All column are robust and reproducible, and are designed to fill the need for dependable and cost-effective method development and validation. All stationary phases are bonded to ultra-pure spherical silica gel with narrow particle distribution. They are ideal choices for a variety of USP methods. |
Heritage C18 HPLC column
USP L1 designation/classification column. Octadecyl silane chemically bonded to porous silica 3, 5 and 10 um particle size. Specifically designed for USP methods. Inexpensive alternative to C18 columns. Reversed-phase column for separation of hydrophobic compounds. Designed to separate compounds based on hydrophobicity. Robust and reproducible.
Heritage N HPLC column
USP L3 HPLC designation/classification column. Porous silica particles, 3, 5 and 10 µm particle size. Designed to separate compounds in HILIC and normal phase mode as well as by weak cation-exchange mechanism. Robust and reproducible.
Heritage C8 HPLC column
USP L7 designation/classification column. Octylsilane chemically bonded to totally porous high quality silica particles, 3, 5 and 10 um particle size. Reversed-phase column for separation of hydrophobic compounds. Specifically designed for USP methods. Inexpensive alternative to C8 columns. Designed to separate compounds based on hydrophobicity of various compounds. Robust and reproducible.
Heritage AP HPLC column
USP L8 designation/classification column. An essentially monomolecular layer of aminopropylsilane chemically bonded to totally porous high quality silica gel support, 3, 5 and 10 um particle size. Robust and reproducible.
Heritage CN HPLC column
USP L10 designation/classification column. Cyano groups chemically bonded to porous high quality silica particles, 3, 5 and 10 um particle size. Specifically designed for USP and other applications for retention of polar compounds in HILIC or normal phase modes. Robust and reproducible.
Heritage Phenyl HPLC column
USP L11 designation/classification column. Phenyl groups chemically bonded to porous silica particles, 3, 5 and 10 um particle size. Reversed-phase column for separation of hydrophobic aromatic and non-aromatic compounds. Specifically designed for USP methods. Inexpensive alternative to other phenyl columns. Designed to separate compounds based on hydrophobicity and aromatic (pi-pi properties) of various compounds. Robust and reproducible.
Heritage C4 HPLC column
USP L26 HPLC designation/classification column. Butyl silane chemically bonded to totally porous high quality silica particles, 3, 5 and 10 um particle size. Reversed-phase column for separation of highly hydrophobic compounds. Specifically designed for USP methods. Inexpensive alternative to C4 columns. Robust and reproducible.
Heritage MA HPLC column
USP L78 designation/classification column. A silane ligand that consists of both reversed-phase (an alkyl chain longer than C8) and anion-exchange (primary, secondary, or tertiary amino groups) functional groups chemically bonded to porous high quality silica gel particles, 3, 5 and 10 um particle size. Mixed-mode HPLC column with dual mechanism of interaction. Retains and separates compounds based on reversed-phase, anion-exchange and cation-exclusion mechanisms. Ideal column for analysis of surfactants. Robust and reproducible.
